Route: Hotel Stary → Royal Island, step by step
The route runs mostly through the pedestrian zone of the Old Town. The whole distance is on foot — no taxi, no fuss.
- Exit through the main entrance of Hotel Stary at ul. Szczepańska 5 and head east.
- After about 50 metres you reach the Main Square — Krzysztofory Palace stands in front of you.
- Walk along the northern frontage of the Main Square, passing the Cloth Hall on your right (about 80 metres).
- At the corner by St Mary's Basilica, turn left into ul. Św. Jana.
- Royal Island is on the right at number 8 — about 50 metres from the Main Square.
The full route is 180 metres, around 3 minutes of walking at a normal pace.
